Justin Bieber is a Canadian pop and R&B singer. Justin was born on March 1, 1994. He is one of my sisters’ and one of my favourite celebrities.
Justin was found by accident when he posted his home videos of him singing on YouTube. He quickly became famous and a house-hold name all over the world. His only two albums so far have both been big hits. “My World” came out in November 2009 and “My World 2.0” was released in March 2010.
Bieber not only does vocals, but also plays the keyboards, piano, guitar, drums and even the trumpet. Even more amazingly, he is self-taught - a true born talent. His first single, "One Time" reached 12 on the Canadian Billboard Top 100.
Justin also presented an award to Taylor Swift, who is another one of my favourite singers, at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009. He starred on MuchMusic in Canada on numerous occasions and in October of 2009, and performed several songs on the Today Show for a U.S. audience. He is currently on his second tour, “My World Tour”.
I am excited for this tour because he will be stopping by Regina. My sisters and I are one of the many lucky girls who are going to his concert on September 16th, 2010. That day also happens to be my sister, Qafia’s birthday. So the Justin Bieber concert seems like a wonderful way to celebrate.
Along with his singing, Justin Bieber has acted in some movies and been on a couple of talk shows. In 2009 he guest starred in True Jackson VP and My Date With… And in 2010 he has guest starred in School Gyrls and Saturday Night Live. Justin is also going to be in the season premier of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
My sisters and I are really excited for his concert especially Susan. She is the biggest Bieber fan out of all of us. We are all looking forward to seeing him.
